Every CloudSpace server is managed.

Managed is the default, not an upsell. Pick the level of ownership you want and a named engineer builds it, watches it and fixes it.

MANAGED VPS

The default

Secure build, monitoring, backups, OS patching, configuration help and named engineering support.

FULLY MANAGED

Deeper ownership

Adds agreed application stack support, proactive tuning, change assistance and expanded operational responsibility.

CUSTOM INFRASTRUCTURE

Designed together

Multi server, database, network, resilience and growth requirements scoped with an engineer.

What managed actually includes

Managed cannot be a vague support promise. We publish what is included, what needs a scoped project and what stays with you.

Clear boundaries protect your budget and make it obvious who owns what when something breaks.

INCLUDED AS STANDARD
Secure build and configuration
Monitoring reviewed and acted on
Backups configured, monitored and recoverable
OS maintenance and security updates
Direct access to experienced engineers

How ownership is divided

We own the platform
01

The server, the operating system, patching, monitoring, backups and the network it runs on.

We own the agreed stack
02

The services we configured for your workload, from NGINX and PHP to Redis, Docker and the database.

You own your application
03

Your code and your data. When something in it breaks, we still help you find it.

CloudSpace engineers reviewing a managed server build
Cloudspace have always provided great service for us. They helped configure our cloud servers initially, have been flexible about the occasional ramping up or cutting back in servers used, and have even helped resolve issues when we have experienced issues installing 3rd party software onto one of the cloud servers that they host! We would recommend them to anyone looking for a smaller scale solution than the big Azure, AWS cloud solutions.
